the founder member of the firm, having originally established it as VF
Nathan & Co in 1970 . He is a former member of the council of
the
Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
He is very involved in International Tax Matters and manages the
Corporate Services function within the Practice. He is a firm
believer in the “Business Friendly”
nature of Ireland
and promotes it accordingly.

Michael
joined the firm having gained a good knowledge of the tax system in the
Office of the Revenue Commissioners. He was elected president of the
Irish Taxation Institute in 2000 and following that was appointed by
the Minister for Finance to the committee which reviewed and issued a
report on Revenue powers.
Michael is a firm believer that people work hard to earn a living and
that we should work hard to ensure that the Revenue Commissioners only
receive the minimal legal slice of that income.

Carl
joined the firm in 1987 and is a former Committee Member of the
Insolvency Committee of The Institute of Chartered Accountants In

Carl has wide insolvency experience and is also actively involved in
the Corporate Finance activities of the firm.

Trevor
has been in practice for in excess of 20 years and has accumulated a
vast knowledge dealing primarily with medical professionals and related
service companies.
He specialises in advising medical professionals in relation to

wealth generation and preservation.

Partner with responsibility for our West Cork portfolio consisting of a
diverse spread of SME's consisting of both Audit and Sole Trader
entities.
In addition Ned has considerable experience in Corporate Finance areas
and has been responsible for the BES fundraising undertaken

HLB Nathans over the past 10 years as well as financing all aspects of
Tax Driven Property schemes such as Holiday Cottages and Student
Accommodation schemes.

Eoin
was formally a principal in the firm of O’Leary Lehane
& Co.
which merged with HLB Nathans in November 2006.
His particular area of expertise is in the area of SME’s,

managed businesses and high net worth individuals. Eoin acts
for
a large number of professionals who operate across a wide spectrum of
professional services.
Further, Eoin has been involved in the structuring and development of
